I love a challenge, and working with Britney to create these large-scale pieces for her home was a welcome one. Painting watercolor at this size (approximately 2’ x 3’) on canvas requires prepping the canvas with a product called “watercolor ground” that allows the surface to absorb the water-based paint in a similar way to watercolor paper.

Seeing the final location of these pieces in Britney’s home when she shared a photo with me was so special. I always love knowing where a piece goes or what the recipient thinks!
