This piece was hard to work on. The client described to me that it was to be given to a friend of hers who had recently lost a child. We worked together to incorporate the elements and colors that would honor his memory in a special way. While I was working on it, I had just given birth to my own new baby, and I definitely shed a few tears as I completed it.

This is an example of what can be done in a digital format, but by hand. Once the client and I were satisfied with the layout, I was able to print the page in a couple of different size formats for her to choose from.
